Job summary

Randhawa Multi Super Speciality Hospital in Pathankot is seeking a Dialysis Technician to operate and maintain hemodialysis equipment and support nephrologists and nursing staff in delivering dialysis treatment. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare dialysis machines and treatment stations before each session.
• Verify dialysis prescriptions and prepare equipment accordingly.
• Assist in initiating, monitoring, and terminating hemodialysis procedures.
• Monitor patients vital signs and clinical condition during dialysis.
• Identify and promptly report complications or adverse reactions to the nephrologist or dialysis nurse.
• Operate, troubleshoot, clean, disinfect, and maintain dialysis machines.
• Ensure proper water treatment system monitoring and maintenance checks.
• Maintain dialysis treatment records and equipment logs.
• Follow infection prevention, aseptic techniques, and biomedical waste management protocols.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of dialysis consumables and supplies.
• Coordinate with nephrologists, nurses, biomedical engineers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Support NABH accreditation, quality assurance, and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Follow hospital policies, SOPs, and statutory regulations.
• Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the Dialysis Unit In-charge or Nephrologist.
