Job summary

Tractebel, part of ENGIE, seeks a Lead Civil Design – Substations in Gurgaon, India. You will shape critical substation structures up to 220 kV, lead a team of engineers, and ensure designs meet code requirements.

The role emphasizes foundations, equipment buildings, and producing structural drawings, with leadership and clear communication in multidisciplinary projects. A Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with extensive experience is required; a Master’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; a Master's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Energy Studies is preferred.
• 15 or more years of experience in civil and structural design of substations.
• Strong proficiency in STAAD.Pro for structural analysis and design.
• Working knowledge of IS, BS, or IEC standards for substation structures.
• Familiarity with PLS Tower or PLS CADD is an advantage.
• Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in professional project environments.
