Job summary

Asip Tech in Hyderabad, India seeks a capable DFT Engineer to collaborate with customers to define test requirements, propose DFT strategies, and implement cost-saving DFT solutions across silicon devices.

The role demands hands-on experience with DFT tools, silicon bring-up, and exposure to industry testers; travel to USA/Asia is expected, with strong communication and the ability to work under pressure as essential traits.

Qualifications

• Master’s (or Bachelors with strong track-record considered as well)
• 2-5 yrs industry experience is preferrable
• Hands on experience with DFT tools and methodologies
• Hands-on experience in Silicon Bring up and volume production is essential
• Exposure to industry standard Testers
• Ability to travel to USA/Asia
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Closely work with customers to understand the Test requirements and propose DFT strategy & solutions
• Help customers implement DFT solutions necessary to optimize the Test cost and improve DPM and Quality
• Work responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• DFT Architecture
• TAP/JTAG Implementation
• MBIST Insertion
• Scan Architecture
• Verification of all DFT Features
• Scan ATPG
• Timing exceptions for DFT logic
• ATPG Pattern Optimization
• Test time reduction
• Diagnosis & Yield Analysis
• EDA Tools (Siemens Tessent, Synopsys Tetramax, etc.)
