ConveGenius is building scalable education platforms impacting 150+ million children in Bharat. We seek a backend engineer to own microservices architecture, Kafka-driven data flows, and robust Java/Spring backends. You’ll work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB/Elasticsearch, and modern frontend tech across a full-stack spectrum.

Qualifications

• Experience designing distributed systems and APIs.
• Hands-on with Kafka/MSK, including monitoring and consumer patterns.
• Strong backend Java development with Spring Boot.
• PostgreSQL schema design, migrations, and query optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Own Spring Boot architecture and API contracts for scheme integration workflows.
• Hands-on Kafka/MSK ownership including topic config, consumer groups, offset monitoring, and idempotent patterns.
• Oversee PostgreSQL schema and Flyway migrations, indexing and partitioning for high-volume tables.
• Manage Keycloak IAM with OAuth2/OIDC for SSO and partner auth.
• Own Jenkins pipelines for build and release.

Responsibilities

• Spring Boot architecture and API-contract ownership for scheme integration workflows.
• Hands-on Apache Kafka / MSK ownership, including topic configuration, consumer-group management, offset and lag monitoring, idempotent and exactly-once consumer patterns, and
• PostgreSQL schema ownership and Flyway migration oversight, including indexing and query-plan optimisation, connection pooling and partitioning of high-volume scheme tables.
• Keycloak IAM with OAuth2 / OIDC for SSO and DPI partner authentication.
• Jenkins pipeline ownership for build and release.

Must-have skills:

• Microservices Architecture - Designing and owning distributed service architectures.
• Apache Kafka / MSK - Topic configuration, consumer-group management, and dead-letter
• Spring Boot / Java - Core backend development and API-contract ownership.
• PostgreSQL - Schema design, Flyway migrations, indexing and query optimisation.
• MongoDB / Elasticsearch - NoSQL data stores and search infrastructure.
• Node / Angular / React Native - Full-stack breadth across frontend and backend.
• Keycloak (OAuth2 / OIDC) - IAM for SSO and DPI partner authentication.
• AWS / Service Mesh - Cloud infrastructure and service-to-service communication.
• Python - Scripting and automation.
• Jenkins - CI/CD pipeline ownership for build and release.
