Job summary

Zybysis Consulting Services LLP in Mumbai, Worli, is seeking a Desktop Engineer Level 1 to provide end-user support and maintain desktops, laptops, and basic network infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting hardware/software issues, IT asset management, and ensuring smooth IT operations for employees.

The candidate should have 0–2 years of experience, strong Windows OS skills, and networking knowledge, with willingness to support both remote and on-site users.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-user desk support, hardware troubleshooting, and asset management.
• Knowledge of Windows OS installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Networking basics: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral device support.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS and office applications.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access requests.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues (RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboards).
• Install and update software, drivers, and security patches.
• Provide remote and onsite support to end users.
• TroubleshootLAN/WAN connectivity and DNS/DHCP configurations.
• Assist in router/switch configuration and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
• Monitor and manage IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repair and replacement.
• Manage incidents using ticketing systems and ensure SLA compliance.

We are looking for a Desktop Engineerwith networking knowledge to provide end-user technical support andmaintain desktop systems, laptops, and basic network infrastructure. The roleinvolves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing IT assets,supporting network connectivity, and ensuring smooth IT operations for employees.

Key Responsibilities

Desktop & EndUser Support

• Providetechnical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Install,configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and office applications.
• Manageuser accounts, permissions, and access requests.
• Diagnoseand resolve hardware issues (RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboard, peripherals).

Helpdesk &Ticketing

• Manageincidents using ticketing systems and maintain proper documentation.
• Ensure SLAcompliance for issue resolution.
• Escalatecomplex technical issues to L2/L3 support teams.

Technical Skills /Basic Skill Set

• Strongknowledge of desktop hardware and troubleshooting .
• Need Expor Knowledge in Local application support.
• Experiencewith Windows OS installation, configuration, and maintenance .
• Strongnetworking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and Wi-Fitroubleshooting .
• Understandingof Azure Active Directory user management and group policies .
• Knowledgeof printer and network device configuration .
• Familiaritywith IT support tools and remote support software .
• Basicexposure to network monitoring or troubleshooting tools .

Required Qualifications

• BE, B.Tec,IT, or Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
