Job summary

Crisil in Bengaluru seeks an IT support specialist to manage Windows/Mac OS deployment through PXE, install Office 365 and collaboration tools, and handle SCCM/Intune workflows for end users.

You will configure security tools (BitLocker, Defender, DLP), manage device registration in Intune, support VDI/Citrix access, troubleshoot email and file sync (Outlook/OneDrive/SharePoint), and coordinate with backend teams to close tickets per SLA.

Job description

• 1. Windows/Mac OS deployment through PXE Boot and ISO, install Office 365, collaboration tools (Zoom/Teams).
• 2.Install Antivirus products and regular DAT / patch updates (Microsoft Defender), Encryption tools (Bit locker), Data Loss protection tools (Microsoft/Symantec DLP), Proxy client (Zscalar).
• 3.Installing applications via SCCM (Software Centre)
• 4.Adding machine to domain and proper security groups
• 5.Ensure device registration in Intune and troubleshoot if devices failed on registration.
• 6.Follow IMAC checklist for asset deployment. (Changes in BIOS and Profile level).
• 7.Handling hardware issue and coordinating with vendors for Call logging, tracking and closure for OEM calls pertain to hardware, software, and networking support
• 8.Handling daily tickets assigned and proper update on tickets as per SLA.
• 9.Configure user profile – Outlook, OneDrive/ Share drive, printer, etc
• 10.VDI/Citix configuration for users
• 11.Troubleshooting for the users VDI issue’s (i.e.., VDI freeze, Desktop icon not showing, internet issues in VDI).
• 12.Co-ordinating with backend teams for solving issues
• 13.Exit User formalities – Collecting user assets and update to asset team for inventory change.
• 14.Assist users in accessing applications based on standard SOP’s
• 15.LAN cable crimping.
• 16.Escalating the Issues to Team Leads, Ops Manager and Crisil Manager, if not getting any support from the teams.
• 17.Knowledge of creating Outlook Rules and Adding/Exporting PST in the current Outlook
• 18.Provide call reports as per client request.
• 19.Configuration of mail clients and troubleshooting mail client related issues (System and on PDA's)
• 20.Preparing the Hard Copy IMAC Form and Sending Compliance IMAC to respective teams.
• 21.Connecting Video conference internal/external as per the request.
• 22.Basic knowledge about Zoom, MS team and LogMeIn
• 23.Troubleshoot issues related to market data applications like Bloomberg, Eikon, Fatcet, ect.
