Job summary

Barsyl is seeking a B.E./B.Tech (ECE) graduate for a rail signaling and telecom design role. The position involves preparing SIP, TOC, wiring, and electrical diagrams, along with site surveys and client liaison to deliver robust, lifecycle-aware designs for railway projects.

You will work on interlocking plans, track insulation, power distribution, and earthing, coordinating closely with consultants and stakeholders to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E (ECE) degree required.
• Experience in signaling, telecommunication and rail design preferred.
• Willingness to conduct site surveys and liaise with clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare SIP based on Engineering Scale Plan and existing SIP in PDF.
• Design/prepare TOC based on SIP, Interface Diagram, SWR diagrams.
• Prepare track insulation plan, MSDAC DP plan and Cable routes.
• Create Power Distribution Diagram and Load Chart.
• Prepare Earthing Plan for indoor and outdoor areas.
• Produce complete Floor Plan and related drawings.
• Liaise with the client to understand requirements and provide solutions.
• Conduct site surveys for SIP, cable routes, and gear shifting.

• Preparing the below listed plans and drawings:
  • Preparing Signal interlocking Plan (SIP) based on Engineering Scale Plan, Existing SIP in PDF format, showing all necessary Information required on SIP, Panel Diagram,Logic Diagram.
    
  • Designing / preparation ofTable of Control (TOC) based on SIP, Interface Diagram, Station Working Rule (SWR), SWR diagram,
    
  • Track insulation plan, MSDAC DP plan,
    
  • Cable Route Plan, Cable Core Plan.Cable Termination (CT) Rack Details
    
  • Location wiring details,
    
  • Power Distribution Diagram, Load Chart.
    
  • Earthing Plan both Indoor and Outdoor.
    
  • Complete Floor Plan,
    
• Preparation of Design Basis Note
  
• Knowledge on Planning the phasing of Preliminary Design stage to Construction stage work.
  
• Ensuring that designs maximize sustainability outcomes during design phase and over whole life of project.
  
• Producing concept and outline design proposals that solve client challenges in the maintenance, renewal, and enhancement of railways.
  
• Analysis and calculation for Signaling and Telecommunication components.
  
• Liaise with the Client to understand their requirements and then design the optimal solution to meet their goals.
  
• Site survey for preparation of SIP, Cable route plan, proposed shifting of gears etc.
  
• Knowledge on preparation of tender documents and BOQ.
  
• Consult with Consultants and provide continuous feedback on status of project regarding process-related issues.
