Job summary

ETA Engineering in Surat, Gujarat seeks an experienced ECS/TVS Design Manager to lead and coordinate design activities for ECS/TVS systems. You will drive design planning, technical reviews, team management, and ensure deliverables meet project requirements, codes, and client expectations.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years in ECS/TVS or MEP design, metro project experience, and strong skills in AutoCAD and Revit/BIM.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of ECS/TVS/HVAC or MEP design experience.
• 5 Years Metro Project experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of engineering design principles and building services.
• Experience in handling design teams and multiple projects.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and relevant design software.
• Strong understanding of design calculations, drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage design activities and meet project deadlines.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or large-scale building projects will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ECS/TVS design team and manage day-to-day design activities.
• Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with project, execution, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other engineering teams.
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications, applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Review equipment selection, system layouts, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, vendors, and site teams for design-related requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical/design issues during the project lifecycle.
• Monitor design deliverables, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure accuracy and quality of engineering drawings.
• Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and designers.
• Coordinate design changes and ensure proper documentation and revision control.
• Support procurement and execution teams with technical inputs and clarifications.
• Participate in client/consultant meetings and technical discussions.
• Ensure timely completion of design deliverables as per project milestones.
