Job summary

ALAN Electronic Systems - Medical in Mumbai seeks a hands-on Hardware & Embedded Engineer with 5+ years of experience to lead end-to-end product development. You will design analog/digital circuits, PCB layouts, BOMs, and validate hardware against EMI/EMC standards.

You will integrate sensors, displays, interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, Bluetooth), develop firmware, troubleshoot, and work with R&D, Production and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics/EXTC/Electrical/Instrumentation or related field
• 5+ years of hands-on hardware and embedded product development
• Strong knowledge of Analog, Digital, Power Electronics and Embedded Systems
• Experience with Altium Designer or equivalent PCB design tools
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Educational Qualification: BTech/B.E. in Electronics Engineering

Hardware Design

• End-to-end electronic hardware design & development independently.
• Microcontroller-based circuit design and component selection.
• Schematic design, PCB design/layout, BOM preparation & hardware validation.
• Interface and integration of Sensors, Displays, ADC/DAC, Relays, Motors, Drivers, etc.
• Hardware debugging, testing and root-cause analysis.
• EMI/EMC design considerations, testing and troubleshooting as per applicable standards.
• Experience in EMI/EMC mitigation techniques, including grounding, shielding, filtering, layout and noise reduction.
• Hands-on experience with Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Power Supply, Function Generator, Electronic Load, etc.

Embedded Software / Firmware

• Develop and debug embedded firmware.
• Experience with MCU programming, bootloader, firmware upgrade and debugging.
• Implement communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, I²C, RS232/RS485, CAN, USB, Ethernet, Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth.
• Develop communication protocols and interface software for hardware peripherals.
• Integration of sensors, displays, motors, communication modules and other peripherals.
• Firmware testing, troubleshooting and performance optimization.

Project Ownership

• Coordinate with R&D, Production, Purchase and Quality teams.
• Prepare technical documentation, test reports and design change records.
• Should be capable of working independently with minimum supervision.

Required Experience & Skills:
