Job summary

VHAN BUSINESS ENGAGEMENTS is seeking engineers with hands-on experience in rooftop and ground-mount solar projects. You will prepare engineering drawings (DC/AC SLD, PV layouts), BOMs, shadow analyses, and energy simulations, while supporting bid, procurement, and project execution activities.

The role requires proficiency with AutoCAD and PVSyst, and familiarity with CEIG approvals and DPR preparation. On-site Chennai-area work is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in rooftop and ground-mount solar power projects.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and PVSyst.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings: DC/AC SLD, PV array layout, equipment layout, earthing layout.
• Prepare detailed bill of materials (BOM).
• Prepare shadow analysis and energy simulation reports.
• Carry out electrical, mechanical & civil design calculations per codes.
• Prepare CEIG approval documentation.
• Prepare Detailed Project Report (DPR).
• Review equipment GTP and GA drawings.
• Assist bids and procurement processes.
• Support project management and execution.

Job description

Preparation of Engineering Drawings such DC / AC SLD, PV Array Layout, Equipment Layout and Earthing Layout etc.
