Job summary

VHAN in Tamil Nadu is seeking a solar design engineer to prepare engineering drawings, BOMs, and energy simulations for rooftop and ground-mount projects.

You will use AutoCAD and PVsyst to develop layouts, perform design calculations, and support CEIG approvals, DPRs, and procurement. The role includes bidding assistance and project execution support.

Qualifications

• Experience in rooftop and ground-mount solar power projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD and PVsyst.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings including DC/AC SLDs, PV array and equipment layouts.
• Prepare detailed bill of materials.
• Create shadow analyses and energy simulation reports.
• Perform electrical, mechanical & civil design calculations per codes.
• Prepare documentation for CEIG approval.
• Prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPR).
• Prepare commercial offers.
• Review equipment GTP and GA drawings.
• Bid and procurement support.
• Support project management and execution.

Job description

Preparation of Engineering Drawings such DC / AC SLD, PV Array Layout, Equipment Layout and Earthing Layout etc.
