Responsabilidades

• Develop and review transformer design calculations, drawings, and documentation.
• Mechanical design: tank, radiator, structural components, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and BOM preparation.
• Electrical design: core design, winding calculations, insulation design, and technical specifications.
• Ensure designs meet customer requirements and IS/IEC standards.
• Coordinate with production, quality, testing, and other engineering teams.
• Support design optimization, cost reduction, and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Maintain accurate design records, drawings, and engineering documentation.

Job Description

Transcon Ind Ltd is looking for experienced Design Engineers in Mechanical and Electrical Design for its transformer manufacturing operations. Candidates with relevant experience in distribution and/or power transformer design are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review transformer design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.


• Mechanical Design: Handle transformer tank, radiator, structural components, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and BOM preparation.


• Electrical Design: Handle transformer core design, winding calculations, insulation design, electrical design calculations, and technical specifications.


• Ensure designs comply with customer requirements and applicable IS/IEC standards.


• Coordinate with production, quality, testing, and other engineering teams.


• Support design optimization, cost reduction, and resolution of manufacturing-related technical issues.


• Maintain accurate design records, drawings, and engineering documentation.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in Mechanical or Electrical Design in the transformer manufacturing industry.


• Mechanical candidates should have knowledge of AutoCAD, fabrication drawings, and BOM preparation.


• Electrical candidates should have knowledge of transformer design calculations, winding design, core design, and insulation systems.
  
• Familiarity with transformer manufacturing processes and applicable industry standards.


• Good analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
