Telawne Power Equipments in India seeks an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead a team of design engineers, delivering high-quality mechanical designs on schedule. You will advance expertise in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, 3D modeling, and transformer design including inverter duty and power transformers, collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring juniors.

Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degrees preferred; 12–20 years of experience; strong knowledge of transformers required; on-site

Qualifications

• 12-20 years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience designing control panels & instrumentation equipment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and 3D modeling.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of mechanical design engineers to deliver high-quality designs on time.
• Develop and maintain technical expertise in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, structural design, transformer design (including Inverter Duty Transformer), Power Transformers, Control Transformer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements and develop solutions that meet customer needs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies throughout the design process.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 12-20 years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field with expertise in designing control panels & instrumentation equipment's.
  
• Diploma/B.Tech / B.E. degree from a recognized institution.
  
• Proficiency in software tools like AutoCAD, Solid Works, 3D Modeling etc., .
  
• Strong understanding of all type of Transformers.
