Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services in India seeks an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to develop 2D/3D models, drawings, and manufacturing documentation. You will collaborate with engineers and team leads to translate requirements into precise designs.

The role focuses on GD&T, tolerance analysis, BOM creation, and maintaining quality and on-time delivery of design deliverables. Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD is essential, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 36 years of Mechanical Design & Drafting experience.
• Formal engineering degree or diploma in mechanical/automotive engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or equivalent 3D CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and manufacturing drawings.
• Experience in BOM creation and engineering documentation.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
