Key Responsibilities
12 + years of experience in Oil & Gas Engineering projects with minimum 7-8 years of leadership experience in Engineering, Design & Detailing
Hands on experience in piping, P&ID, 3D modelling, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Field Experience, Veerum Tagging (Nice to have)
Co-ordinate with cross functional teams to ensure On Time Quality Deliverable. i.e. Static Equipment/Vessel Design, Rotating Equipment Design, Piping Design, Structural design, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control system and Site team.
Review, understand the Contract, Client Specification and the complete Scope of Work and ensure to have them implemented in Design.
Conducting Design reviews, Review Vendor drawings & Material Take-Off (MTO).
Review Design Calculation reports of PV Elite for Pressure Vessels, Tank and STAAD Reports for Structures & CAESAR-II for Pipe stress analysis.
Standardization of designs, processes and tools for delivery, monitoring and reporting of Design deliverables.
Train the team members, competency mapping & skills matrix analysis.
Effective utilization of Mechanical and E&I teams for engineering deliverables on time and defined quality criteria.
Assign and monitor the individual workloads to optimize and adhere to project schedules as well as capacity management / resource planning.
Progress monitoring, Review and Approval of all engineering deliverables -Ensures final design meeting customer requirements, international codes & standards and good engineering practice.
Review the design change requests received from site and make necessary changes if required in design without compromising the codes and standards.
Ensure that project lessons learnt document is prepared for all projects and subsequently necessary actions like standards and guidelines implemented.
Participate in the project close out meeting and communicate the lessons learnt to all the disciplines and vice versa.
Required Experience
