Job summary

Dover India Pvt Ltd is seeking a Design Engineer in Vadodara, Gujarat. The role involves machine component design, assembly design, and creating 2D/3D representations. You will apply GD&T and tolerancing, select materials, and work with BOMs and documentation to support production.

Experience in manufacturing processes and knowledge of regional codes (ASME, CE/PED, BIS) will be advantageous. The position is based at the Vadodara site and involves standard office and shop-floor collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in machine component design.
• Experience with assembly design, top-down modeling, weldments and sheet metal tooling.
• Ability to create and interpret 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerancing.
• Select suitable materials for shafts, bearings, gears, couplings and bolts.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with BOM and engineering documentation.
• Awareness of region-specific codes (ASME, CE/PED for EU export, BIS India).
