Job summary

Dynamic Flow Products seeks a design engineer to craft 2D & 3D drawings using Auto CAD, Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks for oil & gas components such as swivel unions, tees, crosses and valves.

The role requires GD&T knowledge, material grade awareness, casting/forging/heat treatment understanding, and weight estimation. You will ensure standards compliance (ISO/API) and support audits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GD&T principles and tolerancing.
• Experience handling precision measuring instruments.
• Understanding material grades and their requirements.
• Ability to calculate finished and forged weights.
• Awareness of ISO, API 6A & API 16C standards.
• Familiarity with oil & gas components and related designs.

Responsibilities

• Make 2D and 3D drawings in Auto CAD, Autodesk Inventor and Solid Works.
• Handle measuring instruments for quality and dimensional control.
• Apply GD&T and design calculations for pressure vessels.
• Know material grades and their requirements for components.
• Understand casting, forging and heat treatment processes.
• Calculate finished weights and forged weights of parts.
• Design oil and gas sector products (swivel unions, hammer unions, tees, crosses, valves).
• Familiar with standards like ISO, API 6A & API 16C.
• Capable of supporting audits (ISO & API).
• Know various standards used in design and development.

• 2. Have Knowledge of handling measuring Instruments.
• 3. Knowledge of GD & T and various calculations (for pressure vessels) used in the design procedure.
• 4. Have knowledge of material grades & their requirements.
• 5. Knows about Casting, Forging & Heat treatment process.
• 6. Know how to calculate the finished weights of the components & Forged weight also.
• 7. Capable to design products of Oil & Gas Sector like: Swivel Unions, Hammer Unions, Tees & Crosses, Valves & Valve Components etc.
• 8. Should familiar with standards like ISO, API 6A & API 16C.
• 9. Capable of facing audits like ISO & API.
• Knowledge of Various standards used in the design & Development process.
