DYNATHERM ALLOYS PRIVATE LIMITED - India in Chennai seeks a Design Engineer to create and refine detailed designs, models and drawings for pressure vessels and heat exchangers. The role is full-time and on-site, focusing on meeting performance, safety and quality standards.

You will use CAD software and PV Elite for modeling, perform engineering calculations, support prototyping and testing, and prepare technical documentation to support client specifications and internal reviews.

Competenze

• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environments, preferably metals.
• Interpret technical drawings; familiarity with tolerance and GD&T.
• Study client datasheets, specs, and standards.
• Mechanical design of pressure vessels and heat exchangers per ASME and IBR.
• Prepare design and drawings documents; support approvals from inspectors/third parties.

DYNATHERM ALLOYS PRIVATE LIMITED - India is an India-based company focused on alloy and materials solutions (heat exchangers & pressure vessels) for industrial applications.

Role Description

This full-time, on-site Design Engineer role is based in Chennai. The Design Engineer will create and refine detailed designs, models, drawings and ensure designs meet performance, safety, and quality standards.

Daily responsibilities include using CAD software / PV Elite for modeling and drafting, performing engineering calculations, supporting prototyping and testing, and preparing technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably in metals, alloys, or related sectors.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and standards, and familiarity with tolerance and GD&T practices.
• After receipt of work Order, study the client datasheet, Applicable specification, standard.
• Preparation of Technical purchase specification as per client & code requirement.
• Mechanical Design of equipment (Pressure vessels, Heat Exchanger, Columns ,etc) as per ASME Section VIII Div.-1,IBR, IS Code or as per client requirements.
• Preparation of design & drawings documents.
• Exposed with Required Design Calculation and Material Knowledge
• Supportive role in Drawing & Design approval from AI (Authorized Inspector for U stamp jobs) ,Director of Boilers(For IBR jobs), any other Third Party like: LRA(Lloyds Resister Asia),SGS,DCPL, Other design consultant like: EIL, Technip , Toyo , Uhde, L&T, etc.
