Darwinbox Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

is seeking a mechanical design engineer to study client datasheets and applicable standards, and to prepare technical purchase specifications in line with code requirements. The role involves mechanical design of equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, reactors, silos and tanks as per ASME Section VIII Div.-1, IBR, IS Code, or client specifications.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ASME Section VIII Div.-1, IBR, IS Code or client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Study the client datasheet, applicable specifications and standards after receipt of work order.
• Prepare technicalPurchase specifications as per client & code requirements.
• Mechanical design of equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, reactors, silos, tanks) per ASME Section VIII Div.-1, IBR, IS Code or client requirements.
• Prepare design & drawings documents.
• Show familiarity with required design calculations and material knowledge.
• Support drawing/design approvals from AI (Authorized Inspector - for U stamp jobs), Director of Boilers (For IBR jobs), or third parties like Lloyd's Register Asia, SGS, DCPL, EIL, Technip, Toyo, Uhde, L&T, etc.

Job description

Primary Responsibilities:

• After receipt of work Order, study theclient datasheet, Applicable specification, standard.
• Preparation of Technical purchasespecification as per client & code requirement.
• MechanicalDesign of equipment (Pressure vessels, Heat Exchanger, Columns, Reactors,Silos, Tanks etc.) as per ASME Section VIII Div.-1, IBR, IS Code or as perclient requirements.
• Preparation of design & drawingsdocuments
• Exposed with Required Design Calculation and MaterialKnowledge
• Supportive role in Drawing & Designapproval from AI (Authorized Inspector - for U stamp jobs), Director ofBoilers (For IBR jobs), Any other Third Party like: LRA (Lloyd's ResisterAsia), SGS, DCPL, Other design consultant like: EIL, Technip, Toyo, Uhde,L&T, etc.
• Candidate should be self-driven, HardWorking & fast learner so that he can pick up the functionalrequirement.
• Basic Understanding of QEHS(Quality, Environment, Health & Safety) will be preferred.
