Job summary

Detroit Engineered Products (DEP) is seeking a skilled reports assistant in Tamil Nadu, Chennai. The role focuses on advanced Excel reporting, macros, and template-based task execution within a collaborative engineering team.

Responsibilities include creating reports, coordinating with engineers, and ensuring timely delivery. Candidates should possess basic automotive knowledge and be ready to learn new tools like Teamcenter and 3DX for enhanced reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Excel functions and formulas including charts, Pivot tables, report creation and macros.
• Basic knowledge of the Automotive domain.
• Knowledge of Bill of Materials & Teamcenter is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of 3DX Tool will also be an advantage.
• Candidate needs to support various report generation tasks based on templates/macros.
• Candidate must be ready to learn and show involvement.
• Coordinate with engineers on reports related tasks and support.
• Good in communication and should work well in a team.
• Ready to support on flexible timing as it’s global support.

• Proficiently create and modify reports using Excel formulas, charts, and macros.
• Support report generation tasks across templates and macros.
• Coordinate with engineers on report-related tasks and deliver timely updates.
• Maintain clear communication within the team and contribute to group efforts.
• Adapt to flexible timing due to global support requirements.
