Job summary

Detroit Engineered Products (DEP) is seeking engineering professionals with hands-on experience in 3DX, Teamcenter and Vis Mockup to support digital pre-assembly, interface checks, and dynamic clearance studies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with clients across regions, and drive timely delivery with high quality.

Proficiency in MS Office and Excel is preferred, with strong written and verbal communication to clearly convey findings and align on resolutions.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication across cross-functional teams.
• Experience with 3DX, Teamcenter and Vis Mockup.IPS tool experience is an added advantage.
• MS Office tools with strong Excel skills.
• Ability to interface with clients and coordinate across regions.

Responsibilities

• Perform Digital Pre-Assembly checks to identify interfaces and alignment between parts using 3DX and TC Vis tool.
• Validate clearance requirements by measuring minimum distances between parts.
• Conduct Dynamic Clearance studies (Motion checks) using 3DX and TC Vis tool.
• Identify engineering issues and discuss resolutions with engineering teams.
• Interact with clients across regions, attend meetings and provide status updates.
• Ensure on-time delivery with required quality.

Role & responsibilities

• Experience in 3DX, Teamcenter & Vis Mockup.
• IPS tool experience (added advantage).
• Experience/ Knowledge in Vehicle systems, program structure in Teamcenter.
• MS Office tools, preferably excel.
• Strong written and verbal capabilities to interface with cross functional teams.
• Perform Digital Pre-Assembly check to find interfaces and alignment between parts using 3DX & TC Vis tool.
• Validate if the clearance requirements are MET by measuring the minimum distance between the given parts.
• Perform Dynamic Clearance studies(Motion checks) using 3DX & TC Vis tool.
• Able to locate engineering issues and discuss with engineering to resolve the identified issues.
• Interacting with clients form different regions. (Attending meetings, query clarifications, status updates)
• Ensuring on time delivery with required quality.
