Job summary

Dimentech is seeking an automotive design engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience to contribute to design and development initiatives in BIW, chassis suspension, and chassis frame systems.

The role requires proficiency in CATIA and PLM (Teamcenter), with strong understanding of DFMEA, DVP, DFA and tolerance stack-up concepts; candidate should be able to present concepts clearly and support manufacturing and assembly processes.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in automotive design and development.
• Experience in BIW, chassis suspension or chassis frame systems.
• Proficient in CATIA and PLM software (Teamcenter).
• Understanding of DFMEA, DVP, DFA and related documents.

Responsibilities

• Design and development tasks in automotive domains.
• Work on BIW, chassis suspension, or chassis frame systems and subsystems designs.
• Review design changes and ensure compliance with automotive standards.
• Prepare and deliver presentations of concepts/master sections.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Experience in Design & Development at Automobile around 2 to 3 years of experience.
• Must have hands on experience in automobile domain having worked on any one of BIW, Chassis Suspension, Chassis Frame Automobile Systems and their subsystem designs.
• Basic understanding of Design/ Design changes on parts for Automotive Sector.
• Candidate should be experienced in CATIA and PLM softwares like Team centre.
• Sound knowledge of engineering and system documents like DFMEA, DVP, DFA etc.
• Good technical knowledge of automotive Sheet metal parts, manufacturing and assembly -process.
• Should be able to prepare & deliver presentations of the concepts/master section.

Should be able to do tolerance stack up & GD&T added advantage
