Job summary

MCE Consulting Engineers in Mumbai Suburban is seeking a skilled mechanical engineer with strong expertise in static equipment design and detailing. The role focuses on safe, compliant design for process equipment including pressure vessels, shells, heads, nozzles, flanges, supports, manholes and platforms.

Candidates should be proficient in AutoCAD and ideally familiar with SolidWorks or Inventor, and have knowledge of ASME Section VIII, API and TEMA standards, plus the ability to read P&IDs,

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of static equipment design and detailing.
• Good understanding of pressure vessel and equipment components such as shells, heads, nozzles, flanges, supports, manholes, platforms, and internals.
• Knowledge of ASME Section VIII, API, TEMA and other applicable standards.
• Ability to read and understand P&IDs, equipment datasheets, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SolidWorks, Inventor, or other 3D modelling software is an advantage.
