Job summary

MCE Consulting Engineers is seeking a mechanical engineer specializing in static equipment for oil & gas projects in Mumbai. The role focuses on designing and reviewing static equipment and pressure vessels, ensuring adherence to international codes and standards.

The candidate will perform calculations, prepare engineering documentation, and coordinate with fabrication, welding, NDT, and inspection teams. Strong communication skills are required for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–10 years of relevant experience in static equipment engineering/design in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Chemical or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of pressure vessels and static equipment design.
• Experience with equipment design calculations and engineering documentation.
• Knowledge of fabrication, welding, NDT, inspection and material requirements.
• Knowledge of ASME Section VIII and API standards.
• Experience reviewing vendor drawings and technical documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
