Job summary

Amara Raja Group in Hyderabad is hiring a Deputy Manager Civil Tendering to lead tender estimation, BOQ preparation, and cost analysis for civil EPC projects. The role requires deep experience in EPC contracts, rate tenders, and vendor negotiations.

You will coordinate with internal teams and clients, participate in techno-commercial meetings, and ensure accurate costing and technical assessments across projects.

Qualifications

• Expertise in project estimation, BOQ preparation, and rate analysis.
• Experience with EPC and item rate tenders.
• Vendor management, including negotiation and selection.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and customer requirements.
• Proficiency in civil works and technical knowledge.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal teams and clients.

• Strong analytical skills for technical and commercial comparison.

Responsibilities

• Processing of Project Proposals, Tender Estimation & Costing for Civil works.
• Understanding customer requirements and specifications of EPC and Item rate tenders.
• Preparing the cost estimates based on the BOQ & specifications.
• Quantity take off, prepare BOQ and rate analysis for EPC tenders.
• Floating enquiries, calling for vendor quotes, vendor offer evaluation.
• Attending techno-commercial meeting for civil work with the customer, consultant & PMC.
• Preparing technical & commercial comparisons for various items.
• Vendor negotiation & selection.
• Arrange for internal kickoff meeting after award of job.
• Effective communication with the project team in the execution of the project.
• Coordination with MEP team for costing.
• Technical discussion with clients.
