Job summary

UpMan Placements is seeking a Deputy General Manager (DGM) EPC Tenders to lead bidding, estimation, and pre-construction engineering strategies across multi-category projects.

Ideal candidate has 15–25 years in EPC/Design & Build tenders, with deep techno-commercial bidding, rate analysis for Civil and MEP, and hands-on experience with BIM tools like Revit, STAAD, Tekla.

Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation skills, and track record of closing strategic bids are essential.

Qualifications

• 15–25 years of hands-on exposure in EPC / Design & Build Tenders.
• Deep expertise in techno-commercial bidding, Civil & MEP estimation, and rate analysis.
• Knowledge of Revit, STAAD, Tekla, and BIM Modelling preferred.
• Strong stakeholder coordination, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Tender Management: oversee synopsis, pre-bid queries, client interactions, site visits, bidding strategy.
• Techno-Commercial Leadership: review architectural/structural DBRs, finishing schedules, specs.
• Costing & Estimation: guide estimation teams, finalize BOQs, check rate analyses for Civil & MEP.
• Risk & Value Engineering: identify risks, coordinate with architects and structural/MEP consultants to engineer cost-effective solutions.
• Bid Submissions & Negotiations: prepare resource histograms, project schedules, and commercial offers, leading client negotiations.

Are you a techno-commercial leader in EPC and Design & Build Tenders ready to drive high-impact, multi-category projects? We are looking for an experienced DGM EPC Tenders to lead our bidding, estimation, and pre-construction engineering strategies.

Experience Required: 15 – 25 Years
Key Focus Areas: Techno-Commercial Bidding, Technical DBRs, Quantity Take-Offs, Rate Analysis (Civil & MEP), Risk Management, and Client Negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Tender Management: Lead tender synopsis, pre-bid queries, client interactions, site visits, and bidding strategy development.
  
• Techno-Commercial Leadership: Review/prepare Architectural & Structural DBRs, finishing schedules, and technical specifications.
  
• Costing & Estimation: Guide estimation teams, finalize detailed BOQs/quantity take-offs, and check rate analysis for Civil and MEP items.
  
• Risk & Value Engineering: Identify project risks, coordinate with architects and structural/MEP consultants to engineer cost-effective solutions.
  
• Bid Submissions & Negotiations: Prepare resource histograms, project schedules, and commercial offers, leading client negotiations to close deals and hit business targets.
  

Ideal Candidate Profile
