The role requires 4-6 years of experience, BE/Graduate degree, and strong knowledge of Linux and virtualization technologies like VMware and Nutanix.

Qualifications

• BE/Graduate with 4-6 years of experience in IT Production Operations.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and virtualization (VMware, Nutanix).
• Experience in project delivery management and planning.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement the infrastructure strategy across Data Centre, Networking, Security and IT procurement.
• Review infrastructure effectiveness and develop improvement strategies.
• Inventory management of software licenses, hardware and other IT supplies.
• Manage Linux sysadmin outsourced team for daily operations.
• Provide solutions to complex business problems aligned with organizational objectives.
• Perform Live DR activities and DR drills.
• Work with server, storage and network architectures.

Job Purpose

KRA

• Creating and implementing the infrastructure strategy for the Organization (comprising Data Centre Management, Networking, Security, IT procurement) to ensure reliability and security.
• Review and analyse existing infrastructure effectiveness and efficiency, and develop strategies to improve or leveraging current systems.
• Inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies.
• Manages Linux sysadmins outsourced team for daily operations/activities
• Provide solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in depth knowledge of organizational objectives
• Performing Live DR activities and DR drills periodically.
• Working knowledge of server, storage and network architectures.
