Job summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced Linux Administrator to manage enterprise Linux server infrastructure in production environments. You will install, configure, and administer Linux servers, manage RHEL/CentOS, patch and upgrade systems, and monitor health and security.

The role requires hands-on Linux administration experience, scripting for automation, and strong problem-solving skills to support production incidents and change management. BE/BTech/MCA/MTech/MSc or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of hands-on Linux Administration experience.
• Strong experience in RHEL/CentOS/Linux Server Administration.
• Hands-on Linux server installation, configuration, patching, and upgrade activities.
• Good knowledge of Shell scripting for automation and operational support.
• Experience in User Management, Group Management, File System, Storage, and Permission Management.
• Strong experience in Linux Troubleshooting, Performance Monitoring, and Server Health Checks.
• Experience in managing Production Environments and providing L2/L3 Production Support.
• Good understanding of Backup & Recovery, Incident Management, and Change Management processes.
• Exposure to AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible is an added advantage.
