Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in CFD using ANSYS Fluent
• Strong understanding of CFD fundamentals and mesh quality
• Ability to validate simulations with engineering data and hand calculations

Responsibilities

• ANSYS Fluent – Mandatory: Steady-state & transient CFD simulations.
• Fluid Flow & Heat Transfer: Flow, pressure drop, thermal performance & flow distribution.
• Conjugate Heat Transfer (CHT): Fluid–solid coupled thermal analysis.
• Thermal Analysis: Temperature distribution and heat-transfer evaluation.
• CAD & Meshing: Geometry simplification and CFD mesh generation.
• Physics Setup: Turbulence models, material properties & boundary conditions.
• Solution Quality: Mesh independence, convergence & sensitivity studies.
• Validation: Correlation with hand calculations, test data & engineering methods.
• Design Optimization: Recommend improvements based on CFD results.
• Technical Reporting: Prepare simulation reports and presentations.
• Cross-Functional Support: Work with Design, Testing, Manufacturing & Project teams.
• Engineering Support: Provide data-driven recommendations for product development.
