Job summary

Octillion Power Systems in India is seeking a Quality Assurance lead to own the QMS, drive compliance, and align QA activities with customer requirements. You will mentor the QA team, establish KPIs, perform audits, and coordinate cross-functional meetings to sustain process improvements.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential to manage multiple projects and deliver on time.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance processes and QMS.
• Experience conducting internal and process audits.
• Ability to develop and monitor QA KPIs and budgets.
• Capability to lead a QA team and coordinate cross-functional meetings.
• Proficient in problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of Kaizen, 5S, and Poka-yoke concepts.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for Quality Assurance.
• Implement all relevant procedures described in the QMS and ensure compliance.
• Respond to customer complaints with containment, full analysis, Poka-yokes, and countermeasures.
• Ensure systems and procedures satisfy customer requirements and audits.
• Undertake internal and process audits of the QMS.
• Attend meetings and communicate instructions.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
• Develop, implement, and manage KPIs.
• Set department objectives/KPIs and review direct reports' performance.
• Manage and lead the team, ensuring staffing levels and motivation for success.
• Monitor task completion and record performance in systems.
• Responsible for Quality budgets and achieving budgets and forecasts.
• Educate the team for Kaizen, 5S, Poka-yoke, Process audit, Quality Tools, etc.

Job description

• To be responsible for Quality Assurance
• Implement all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance
• Respond to customer complaints putting in containment actions, full analysis, poka-yokes (error proofing), and implementing short-term and long-term countermeasures.
• Ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy all customer requirements and audits.
• Undertake internal and process audits of the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
• Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports
• Manage and lead the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels & motivate the team to operational success.
• Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance and record on appropriate systems.
• Responsibility for Quality budgets & responsible for achieving budget and forecast.
• Educating the team for Kaizen, 5S, Poka-yoke, Process audit, Quality Tools, etc
