The role requires 3-5 years in automotive machining, leading new model line setups, ramp-ups, debottlenecking, and cost reduction initiatives while implementing TPM and zero rejection concepts.

Responsibilities

• Address process and quality issues in engine assembly and testing.
• Identify engine defects and perform root cause analysis.
• Set up new model machining lines, line setup and ramp-up.
• Improve capacity through debottlenecking and continuous improvements.
• Implement zero rejection concepts and rejection systems.
• Drive revenue and cost reduction initiatives and implement improvement ideas.
• Coordinate with support functions to resolve issues with cross-functional teams.
• Foster a safe working environment and culture.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Apply TPM principles in machining and related processes.
• Lead tool cost reduction, power cost reduction and productivity projects.
