Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. seeks a Mechanical Engineer with 4-7 years of experience to drive development of casting parts and machined components for new projects, product improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.

The role emphasizes First Time Right and Every Time Right, PPAP coordination with SQA, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery of critical hydraulic components such as front cover, ex-manifold, intake manifold, and oil pan.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing feasibility for new release part w.r.t. new release drawing & finalizing / establishing the casting as well as machining process to get the required results.
• Get the quotation from suppliers after finalizing the process.
• Develop the component and get the process certified through PPAP from SQA.
• Oversee and manage the development of casting parts, machined components ensuring alignment with Mahindra's Development system and timeline standards.
• Lead product improvement initiatives, cost reduction projects, and alternate sourcing activities.
• Address field complaints and implement capacity enhancement solutions for hydraulics components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and timely delivery.

This role specifically focuses on AL & CI Casting & Forging components such as Front cover, Ex-manifold, Intake manifold, Oil Pan, ROSR, Valve Hsg Cover, flywheel, bracket, elbows, Gears, Con-Rod, Crank Shafts, Cam Shafts, Rocker Arm Assemblies, Machined Components, Hardware’s etc. The incumbent will ensure delivery accuracy and quality through adherence to Mahindra’s part development process, with an emphasis on "First Time Right" and "Every Time Right" principles.
