Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited seeks a seasoned Maintenance/Engineering leader in Maharashtra. The role focuses on ensuring system compliance, optimizing manpower and assets, and driving cost reduction initiatives to boost plant performance.

Candidate should have 12–15 years in maintenance, a BE in Mechanical/Automobile, and strong TPM/QA experience. Expect a hands-on leader who collaborates with suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of experience in maintenance/manufacturing environments.
• BE / Mechanical / Automobile degree required.
• Strong knowledge of TPM, maintenance systems, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to systems and processes in the department to deliver customer and market desirables.
• Plan and ensure optimum utilisation of man and assets.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and maintain monthly MIS.
• Implement low cost automation for productivity gains.
• Maintain and improve machine availability using TPM/RCs and EHS standards.

Job description

• Â Implementing Low cost automation for improving productivity
• Â Initiatives and improvements to have better machine availability
• Â Adherence of TPM methodology
• Â Corrective and Preventive Maintenance
• Â MFMEA for machine cause identification and rectification
• Â Breakdown reduction approach by using ECRS methodology
• Â Quality Concerns resolution by QC Story methodology
• Â Actively participating in QCRT committee
• Â Inspire, lead and ensure healthy relation at all times with customer, supplier and employees within and outside department
• Â To have better employee engagement in the department for fetching optimum results
• Â Grooming and Enhancing Technical and function skills of officer through training
• Â ABC analysis of spares and machines
• Â Spare parts planning and procurement
• Â Budget planning (Capital as well as Revenue) and execution
• Â Responsible for keeping budget under control
• Â Resource planning for the department
