Job summary

Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd. in Coimbatore is seeking a Deputy Manager Production to drive monthly production planning, material scheduling and timely delivery of finished goods. The role requires coordinating with shop floor teams and ensuring raw material availability and stock norms.

The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of experience in production planning, familiarity with SAP MM/PP, and a proactive approach to inventory control and inter-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering
• 3–6 years of relevant production/industrial experience
• Knowledge of SAP MM/PP module
• Experience in materials planning and scheduling
• Strong coordination with shop, SMD, DSSG and other departments

Responsibilities

• Preparation and Finalisation of Monthly FG Schedule. ( M1, M2, M3 )
• Raw Material and Components schedule / requirement finalisation for the month. ( M1, M2,M3 )
• Follow up with all concern and ensure Adherence and compliance for Finalised Breaker and Accessories Schedule. Regular interaction with shop, SMD, DSSG and concerned depts
• Ensure Raw Material & Component availability for assembly line as per Plan , Ensure Stock Norms of RM & Components.
• Control on Inventory and WIP as per Target / Budget, reduction in non Moving / Slow Moving Inventory
• Tracking and ensure completion on time of Urgent, White Label and Specific order. Communicate to Customer about commitment and related activities.
• Prepare Weekly plan for FG SKU's, Inhouse components and co-ordinate to ensure material availability accordingly.
• Good Understanding of Production planning process, SAP knowledge on MM, PP module
