Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking a mechanical engineer for test planning and execution across lab and field environments. You will work on farm implements like combines, rotavators, cultivators, ploughs and related equipment, handling DAQ hardware/software, durability and performance testing, IS standards, and documentation for engineering reviews.

Experience: 6–7 years in lab/field testing within the farm machinery sector; BE (Mechanical) required.

Qualifications

• BE (Mechanical) with hands-on lab testing exposure.
• Experience in field and lab testing for farm machinery components.
• Knowledge of DAQ hardware and software is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute test plans, procedures, and matrices per design/validation needs.
• Plan and execute lab testing; track testing progress and results.
• Perform field and lab testing for farm implements (harvester, rotavator, cultivator, etc).
• Prepare ORCs & FIR for observation, RCA, containment actions, and engineering review tracking.
• Execute DVP to meet product delivery timelines.
• Conduct accelerated testing at torture track.

Job description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• 1. Prepare and execute test plans, test procedures, and test matrices as per design and validation requirements
  Plan and execute lab testing, track testing
• 2. DAQ, identification of corner condition in field, analyzing the data and simulation of same in lab and Torture track.
• 3. Expertise in field and lab testing for farm implements combine harvester ,rotavator, cultivator, disc harrow, MB plough, mulcher and seed drill etc
• 4. Preparation on ORC’s & FIR for observation, RCA, Containment action & tracking for engineering review
• 5. DVP execution to meet the timeline for product delivery
• 6. Execution of accelearted testing at Torture track
