Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. in Chennai, India, is seeking a talented automotive calibration engineer to optimize drivability and engine performance across extreme climatic conditions.

The role involves emission development at vehicle level, data analysis, and preparing detailed reports for calibrations. Ideal candidates have BE/ME with 1–5 years of experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in INCA, VISU, MATLAB, Power BI, and Python.

Qualifications

• BE or ME degree required.
• 1–5 years of experience in automotive calibration or related field.
• Proficient in engine combustion and emissions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data analysis, DOE, and tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Works on Vehicle for drivability & Performance Optimization.
• Vehicle Drivability and Hardware Protection calibration at extreme climatic conditions.
• Work on Steady state Engine performance & emission optimisation.
• Works on Emission development at Vehicle level and Certification.
• Analysis of Test results and Report preparation for all the Calibrations.
• Responsible for Software additional requirements and New software functions verification.
• Support for Validation and Field concern resolution.
• Analysis of Fleet data and RWUP Fuel economy tests.
• Support for Homologation and Production start.

• Ability to frame test cases and analyse / interpretate the results using DOE's.


• Data analysis, preparation of reports and presentation of results


• Flexibility to undertake additional responsibilities to meet business requirements
