Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited [Automotive and Farm Equipment Business] seeks a Maintenance Engineer to oversee mechanical and electronics upkeep in the machine shop. You will drive problem solving using Why-Why analysis and ensure TPM compliance while leading cost-reduction initiatives.

The role includes skill upgrading of workmen, spare parts planning, PM activities, and supporting new project implementations with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics or Diploma considered.
• 2–8 years of general experience.
• Knowledge of TPM, maintenance, and plant systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical and electronics maintenance in the machine shop.
• Apply Why-Why analysis for problem solving.
• Adhere to TPM and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
• Train workmen and upgrade skills in-house.
• Maintain production lines and address chronic issues.
• Plan spare parts and perform PM activities.
• Support new project implementation and safety.
