Job summary

Bharat Forge in Tirupati is seeking a maintenance professional to manage CPC/LPDC/GDC machinery. You will troubleshoot, repair, and prevent downtime, while ensuring safe operations and adherence to maintenance protocols.

You will implement TPM pillars, CAPA for equipment failures, and drive cost reduction projects. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance, plus PM adherence, is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance systems.
• PM adherence is essential.
• PLC troubleshooting knowledge preferred.
• Maintenance cost reduction and root cause analysis required.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork; TPM implementation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CPC/LPDC/GDC machines to ensure smooth production, minimal downtime and safe working conditions.
• Ensure plant operations run at optimal levels at all times.
• Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance as per plan.
• Ensure machine safety interlocks and follow safety procedures and maintenance protocols.
• Close breakdown maintenance quickly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain PLCs, sensors, drives, motors and control panels.
• Monitor spare parts stock as per plan.
• Implement TPM pillar activities; drive CAPA for equipment failures.
• Timely commissioning of equipment.
• Maintain utility equipment and minimize downtime.
• Initiate maintenance cost reduction projects.

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CPC /LPDC/GDC machines to ensure smooth production operation, minimum downtime, and safe working conditions.

• Ensuring that plant operations at optimal levels at all times

• Ensuring the preventive and predictive maintenance activities as per plan
• Ensure machine safety interlocks & Follow safety standard and company maintenance procedures
• Ensuring the closure of break down maintenance of machines with in the minimum time
• Maintain PLC, Sensors, Drives ,motors, and control panels
• Monitoring the stock of spare parts as per plan
• Implementation of PM pillar activities of TPM
• Implementation of CAPA for equipment failures
• Timely execution of commissioning of equipment
• Ensuring the maintenance of utility equipment and ensuring the less down time
• Initiation of maintenance cost reduction projects
