Job summary

IAssess Consultants LLP invites an experienced Assistant Manager – Maintenance to oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for production equipment. The ideal candidate will lead a small team, coordinate with production and quality, and drive TPM and Kaizen initiatives.

Qualifications include a Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automobile Engineering with 5–6 years of hands-on maintenance experience in automotive/manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Maximize machine uptime and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Prepare and follow preventive maintenance schedules.
• Monitor machine performance and improve equipment efficiency.
• Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and spares inventory.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Stores teams.
• Supervise the maintenance team and ensure safety compliance.
• Support TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.
