Job summary

Schneider Electric in Ahmednagar, India seeks a Deputy Manager – Maintenance with 5–10 years of experience to lead maintenance planning and drive reliability across the plant. The role focuses on PM/CBM/TBM, MTTR/MTBF improvements, RCA leadership, and safe operation of electrical/electro-mechanical systems.

Diploma or BE in Electrical/Electronics is required, with hands-on Siemens PLC, VFDs, and servo systems expertise.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Electrical/Electronics is required.
• 5–10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setup.
• Experience with industrial automation and electrical maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance planning and scheduling across the plant.
• Implement PM, preventive and breakdown maintenance programs.
• Monitor MTTR and MTBF and drive improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure optimum stock levels.
• Maintain and update TPM documentation and records.
• Hands-on Siemens PLC troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
• Work in rotating shifts with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Designation: Deputy Manager – Maintenance

Location: Ahmednagar

Qualification: Diploma / BE (Electrical/ Electronics)

Experience: 5 years to 10 years

Key Deliverables / Key Responsibilities/Deliverables (Min 4 need to be filled in decreasing order of importance)

• Maintenance Planning & Execution.
• Develop and implement an effective Maintenance Planning and Scheduling System.
• Ensure efficient execution of Preventive Maintenance (PM), Breakdown Maintenance, Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM), and Time-Based Maintenance (TBM).
• Monitor, track, and improve MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure optimum stock levels.
• Maintain and update all TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) documentation and records.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens PLC programming, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis.
• Hands-on experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Servo Systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and maintenance standards.
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts.
