Job summary

Balmer Lawrie And Co Kolkata is seeking an experienced professional in Leather Chemicals Marketing to drive secondary sales and technical service for leather products in Ranipet, Tamil Nadu. The role requires a full-time Leather Technology graduate with 4+ years in leather chemicals marketing.

Qualifications

• 4 years of post-qualification experience in Leather Chemical Industry.
• B.E./B.Tech in Leather Technology only.
• Experience in leather chemicals marketing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Increase secondary sales to allotted customers by introducing new products and tapping untapped customers.
• Provide exhaustive technical service to allotted customers to maintain current sales and fetch new sales.
• Visit customers on a daily basis as per schedule and track competitors' information.
• Meet dealers regularly and update sales and stock position of the stockist.
• Provide service support for A/B Segment customers.
• Evaluate new products launched and convert into business; meet new product targets.
• Update new products being launched in the market and inform about products to be developed.
• Develop leather articles as per market requirements and promote for order conversion.
• Attend quality complaints and troubleshoot leather processing at customers' place.
• Provide product-wise sales forecast on monthly basis.
• Day to day TSC activities: trials follow up, update self-trials recipe in system with costing, update customer trial recipes, submission of reports within timelines.

Job description

1. Increase the Secondary Sales to allotted customers by introducing new products and tapping untapped customers, thereby reaching the target quantities

2. Provide exhaustive technical service to allotted customers to maintain current sales and to fetch new sales

3. Visit customers on daily basis as per schedule, track Competitors information regularly and update

4. Dealer visits & rapport- To meet dealer regularly and update the sales and stock position of the stockist

5. Service support for A/B Segment customers

6. Evaluation of new products launched and converting it into business. Meeting the targets of new products

7. Updating the new products being launched in the market and informing the new products to be developed

8. Developing leather articles as per market requirements and promote the same in the market for order conversion

9. Attending quality complaints and troubleshooting of leather processing at customers place

10. Provide product wise sales forecast on monthly basis

11. Day to day TSC activities

(i) Trials follow up

(ii) Updating self-trials recipe in system with costing

(iii) Updating all customer trial recipe in system with costing

(iv) Submission of reports within the stipulated timelines

Experience - 4 years of post qualification experience in Leather Chemical Industry

Education - Full Time Engineering Graduate [Leather Technology]

Preferred Experience - Minimum 4 years of experience in Leather Chemicals Marketing

Preferred Qualification - B.E. or B. Tech in Leather Technology only.
