Job summary

Balmer Lawrie And Co Kolkata is hiring for an automotive logistics sales role in Mumbai. You will drive revenue growth across automotive OEMs, Tier 1/2 suppliers, and aftermarket segments, while building and onboarding new clients and maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires 1 year post-qualification experience in logistics, with a full-time engineering degree or MBA/PGDM. Experience in logistics sales is preferred, and the position is based on-site in Mumbai.

Qualifications

• 01 Year of post-qualification experience in Logistics Function.
• Full Time Engineering Graduate or 2 years Full Time MBA or Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Management.
• Experience in Sales and Marketing Function in Logistics Industry will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned targets for revenue and gross profit from the Automobile vertical through new business acquisition and existing account growth.
• Develop and onboard new clients across Automotive OEMs, Tier 1 / Tier 2 suppliers, and aftermarket segment.
• Strengthen relationships with key customers, increase wallet share, and ensure high retention and customer satisfaction.
• Drive effective participation in RFQs/tenders and improve conversion ratio through competitive and solution-based offerings.
• Build a strong pipeline in automotive logistics including JIT shipments, spare parts, and time-critical movements.
• Collaborate with pricing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution and service delivery.
• Ensure timely collections, monitor DSO, and maintain financial discipline in coordination with finance team.
• Maintain accurate CRM updates, sales pipeline visibility, and forecasting.
• Follow company SOPs, commercial guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
