Job summary

Recex Pvt Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Quality Inspection Leader to oversee the QA team across inbound, in-process, and final inspections. You will develop inspection plans, ensure conformance to drawings and customer specs, and drive CAPA initiatives.

The role requires 5–15 years in manufacturing QA, with experience in automotive or heavy industries preferred. You will mentor inspectors, coordinate with production and engineering, and support audits and continuous improvement.”

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, production, or industrial engineering.
• 5–15 years in quality inspection/Quality Assurance in manufacturing.
• Experience in automotive, engineering, fabrication, heavy manufacturing, or precision machining industries preferred.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the quality inspection team across incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
• Develop and implement inspection plans, procedures, and quality standards.
• Ensure products comply with customer specifications, engineering drawings, and applicable standards.
• Monitor inspection activities and ensure timely release of products.
• Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Handle customer complaints and coordinate corrective actions with production and engineering teams.
• Conduct internal quality audits and support external customer and certification audits.
• Maintain inspection records, quality reports, and documentation.
• Analyze quality data, prepare KPIs, and present performance reports to management.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection and measuring instruments.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of quality inspectors.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Purchase, and Sales departments to resolve quality concerns.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, and other quality tools.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, customer standards, and statutory quality requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 5–15 yearsof experience in Quality Inspection/Quality Assurance in manufacturing.
• Experience in automotive, engineering, fabrication, heavy manufacturing, or precision machining industries is preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of quality inspection techniques and standards.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Hands-on experience with measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, CMM, and other inspection equipment.
