Job summary

Zen Technologies Limited in Hyderabad invites an experienced Manager – QC/QA to lead the Quality Control team within Production. The role requires strong mechanical/production engineering background, and deep expertise in QA, process control, and inspection practices for defense or related manufacturing sectors.

You will develop and implement inspection plans, analyze rejections for root causes, drive CAPA, and ensure calibration of inspection tools, while aligning with ISO 9001 and QMS

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of relevant experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance.
• Defense & Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred; candidates from Semiconductor and Electronics Manufacturing industries will also be considered.
• Strong knowledge of QA processes and inspection methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QC team to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
• Prepare and implement inspection and quality plans for production activities.

• Ensure timely execution of calibration schedules for inspection tools.

About the Role

• Ensure timely execution of calibration schedules for inspection and measurement tools.
• Coordinate with productionteams to resolve dimensional, quality, or process-related issues.
• Monitor quality metrics andensure adherence to customer specifications, regulatory standards, and QMSrequirements.
• Support continuousimprovement initiatives through data analysis, problem-solving, andprocess audits.

Requirements

Education & Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Tech inMechanical Engineering or Production Technology.

Experience

• 8–12 years of relevantexperience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance.
• Experience in Defense &Aerospace manufacturing preferred; candidates from Semiconductor andElectronics Manufacturing industries will also be considered.

Key Skills

• Strong knowledge of RootCause Analysis tools (5 Why, Fishbone Diagram) and CAPA.
• Familiarity with PPAP, FMEA,SPC, and MSA methodologies.
• Hands-on experience withinspection tools: Vernier callipers, micrometres, bore gauges, heightgauges, slip gauges, dial test indicators, and CMM (optional butpreferred).
• Exposure to QualityManagement System (QMS) activities, particularly ISO 9001.
• Excellent problem-solving,analytical, and team leadership skills.S
