Role Purpose: To support and implement Human Resource and Industrial Relations initiatives at the site level by ensuring compliance, employee engagement, and harmonious relations between management and employees. The role focuses on end-to-end HR operations, statutory compliance, and proactive IR management to maintain a productive and legally compliant work environment.
Key Accountability Area:
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Management:
- Manage bulk hiring and de-hiring based on business requirements.
- Coordinate with manpower vendors for timely availability of workforce.
- Ensure proper documentation, joining formalities, and onboarding at the site.
- Maintain and update manpower dashboards (on-roll / off-roll) regularly.
Attendance, Payroll & HR Operations:
- Oversee attendance management through biometric systems / reports.
- Verify and process monthly payroll inputs in coordination with the central HR/payroll team.
- Manage leave records, overtime, and shift scheduling.
- Handle employee queries related to salary, attendance, and HR policies.
Employee Engagement & Communication:
- Drive employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and communication forums.
- Conduct induction, open house, and monthly feedback sessions to strengthen employee connect.
- Implement welfare initiatives to improve morale and retention.
Industrial Relations & Grievance Handling.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Support in maintaining healthy IR climate at the site.
- Liaise with contractors and union representatives wherever applicable.
- Assist in domestic inquiries, warning letters, and disciplinary actions.
Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, Factory Act, Contract Labour Act, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate for statutory audits and maintain up-to-date records and registers.
- Track PF, ESIC, professional tax, and labour license renewals for contractors.
HR Analytics & Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain HR MIS reports such as manpower, attrition, absenteeism, and disciplinary incidents (DI).
- Provide analytical insights for decision-making and process improvement.
- Utilize Excel and HR dashboards for trend analysis and presentations.

Qualification: Graduation or MBA in Human Resource Management
Work Experience -7 to 14 years
