Role Title

Assistant Manager - Safety & Admin

Role Description

Responsible for identifying hazards in the premises and providing safety training to all employees to avoid accidents while on the job, thereby achieving the company's goal of Safety First. Also takes care of general administration of the plant.

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards and perform safety training for all employees.
• Ensure the availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Execute risk assessment and KYT (danger prediction) processes to control or minimize positional hazards.
• Coordinate with departmental heads to set safety process parameters.
• Organize monthly departmental audits for all plants to ensure safe practices and a safe environment.
• Conduct plant safety inspections and safety patrols throughout the plant.
• Prepare and update the safety manual at frequent intervals to ensure compliance with current safety standards.
• Implement a work‑permit system to regulate non‑routine work activities.
• Monitor and report on safety statistics, near‑miss incidents, and statutory compliance.
• Maintain CCTV surveillance for safety monitoring.
• Maintain and update EHS and fire safety documentation and liaise with authorities.
