Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. is seeking a Senior localization and project execution professional in India with 7-10 years of experience in mechanical domains. The role requires BE/B.Tech in Mech or Automobile and involves CFT leadership, Capex estimation, and cross-functional coordination across suppliers and internal teams.

The incumbent will drive localization initiatives, monitor MIS, and ensure timely project execution while optimizing costs for P24 and related projects.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile engineering.
• 7–10 years of experience in localization and project execution.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CFT meetings for localization and P24 projects.
• De bottlenecking and advocacy during project execution with stakeholders.
• Prepare business cases for localization and globalization with Capex estimation.
• Maintain MIS and monitor monthly KPIs.
• Engage suppliers domestic and overseas for feasibility, development tracking.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for localization implementation and progress tracking.
• Assess cost impacts for P24 and ZDT projects.
• Monitor departmental inventory status and plan actions to reduce it.
• Prepare monthly toolkits for the department.
• Consolidate Capex with commodities for capacity and risk mitigation; obtain senior management approval.
• Track P24 project development and present weekly updates to management.

General Requirements

Good knowledge of Tractor Casting, Forging, Tractor Proprietary (e.g. Tyres, wheel rims etc.) , Electrical (e.g. Lamps & wiring harnesses) & Sheet metal parts (skin panels/bracketories) & processes.
