Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. in Pune requires a seasoned Mechanical/Automobile engineer to drive localization and capex projects, coordinating cross-functional teams to keep development on track and improve processes.

The role involves debottlenecking issues, cost analysis, MIS maintenance, and active supplier engagement for feasibility and development tracking, with regular progress updates to management.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile engineering required.
• Good knowledge of Tractor Casting, Forging, Tractor Proprietary parts (e.g. Tyres, wheel rims) and Electrical systems (lamps and wiring harnesses).
• Knowledge of sheet metal parts (skin panels/bracketories) and processes.
• Analytical skills and ability to influence CFT members for optimum performance.
• Hands on with advanced Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word, SAP, TEAM CENTRE and Cordys.
• Tractor Product Knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CFT meetings for Localization and P24 projects.
• De-bottlenecking and advocacy during project execution with all stakeholders.
• Prepare business case for Localization & Globalization projects with Capex estimation.
• Maintain MIS and monthly inventory status.
• Engage with domestic and overseas suppliers for feasibility study and development tracking.
• Interact with stakeholders for localization project implementation and progress tracking.
• Capex consolidation with commodities for capacity and de-risking projects.
• Monitor P24 project development and present weekly to management.
