Job summary

Le Human Resources Solutions is seeking a Senior Engineer/Deputy Manager for New Product Development (NPD) based in Mulshi (Pirangut), Pune. The role requires overseeing NPD from RFQ to SOP and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust process development.

The ideal candidate has 5–12 years in forging industries, with expertise in APQP/PPAP, PFMEA and GD&T, and a strong track record in cost reduction and process optimization. The position is on-site in Pune.

Qualifications

• Experience in hot forging, ferrous or non-ferrous metals.
• Hands-on NPD processes including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA and control plans.
• Knowledge of die development and GD&T standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPD projects from RFQ to SOP and launch.
• Develop forging processes, die development, and process plans.
• Prepare APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan and related docs.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Tool Room, Purchase and Customers.
• Manage trial production, samples and process optimization.
• Drive cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.
