Job summary

Amor Management Consultants is seeking a Development Deputy Manager to lead end-to-end product development from concept to production, with emphasis on plastics and automotive regulatory compliance. This role requires a strong technical background and problem-solving skills.

The candidate will design, prototype, test, and validate products, coordinate with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, manufacturing, and QA, and ensure manufacturability and quality through CAD

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product development or related engineering roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with prototyping, testing methods, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support the design and development of new products and enhancements to existing products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product development, marketing, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
• Conduct feasibility studies, material selection, prototyping, testing, and validation of product designs.
• Create and maintain design documentation such as CAD models, drawings, specifications, and bill of materials (BOM).
• Participate in design reviews and implement feedback to improve product performance and manufacturability.
• Analyse test data, identify root causes of issues, and propose design or process improvements.
• Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Ensure products meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
